Agree, ACC is Top B-ball Conference Historically

I agree that the ACC is the best basketball conference in the nation. There are a lot of arguments for the Big East but the champion still came out of the ACC this past year (2009).

Duke and North Carolina are the two most prestigious schools in the nation, and have the most publicized rivalry. With those two being the two best teams year in and year out, there are always teams in the ACC that can knock them off every year. The ACC almost always produces two or three surprises each year and consistently gets 7-8 teams in the tourney each year.

The Big East may get more teams in, but they have more teams. I believe the best way to look at it is the conference with the highest percentage of teams in the tourney.
