Each year a player award is given to the best Ice Hockey Player in the Hockey World Championships. In 2008 Dany Heatley from Canada got the award as the best forward and most valuable player. He won for the second time as he was also MVP of the World Championships in 2004. Heatley is the only player who has ever gotten this award twice. That being said, he takes the prize as the Best Ice Hockey player ever.
By the way, he's also been an NHL all-star 4 times and was named the NHL All-Star Game MVP in 2003.
