Kobe Bryant is the Best Current Pro Basketball Player

Where's Kobe? Come on, you gotta be kidding. Kobe Bryant is far and away the best player in the NBA today. Just last night he won his 5th NBA title (tying Magic Johnson) and was named Championship Series MVP for the second straight year.

Of all the great Lakers in history (Kareem, West, Johnson, etc) -- none ever beat the Celtics in a Game 7. Until Kobe.

The Lakers have been in the finals the past 3 years.

Where have Dirk Nowitzki and LeBron James been? Sitting home watching on TV -- again last night.

Come on, just no doubt Kobe is #1 right now and moving up the all-time list.
