Certainly the '71 Nebraska team and '61 Bama team were both great teams. So, I won't get into the debate over which was best. But, Tex Noel, 1st-N-Goal, put together this great pdf that pretty well documents which was the The answer is -- the 1920 Daniel Baker College Billy Goats. Wow, check out the article. The Goats were shellacked in every game. And, actually that losing record was not limited to just 1920. That just seemed to be the worst of the worst. So, anyway, no matter how bad your favorite team is doing -- you can always rest easy in the knowledge that there's no way they could be worse than the 1920 DBC Billy Goats. |
