There are so many talented College Baseball Players known in NCAA baseball history. Picking the best one is not an easy task. These players possess different characteristics that a Baseball Player must have. But of course, in any field, there is always someone that stands out among the rest. We give the title of the greatest college baseball player to Pete Incaviglia.

Pete Incaviglia was born on April 2, 1964 in Pebble Beach California. NCAA records show that he ranks #1 in number of home runs in an NCAA baseball career with 100 total and also tops in one individual season with 48. During his collegiate baseball career, he played for Oklahoma State and participated in 213 total games. He led his team to the College World Series three times. Before leaving his college career, he already had a .915 slugging percentage. Pete was recognized for all this by being selected to College Baseball's Hall of Fame.

After college, Incaviglia was the overall 8th draft pick in Major League Baseball draft, drafted by the Texas Rangers. He played for the team as an outfielder. He made his first appearance in Major League Baseball on April 8, 1986. He also played for teams like the Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, and Baltimore Orioles. There is an MBL rule named after him. The Peter Incaviglia Rule states that a drafted player cannot be traded by a team until under contract by the team for a year.
